If you don't mind driving a few extra minutes, this is absolutely worth the trip. Located near Singleton's, Super Roasted serves some of our favorite coffee in the area. The open, inviting space is perfect for lingering over a cup, and the owner is known for greeting guests with genuine warmth and a piping hot, strong cup of coffee. One of those places that feels like discovering a local secret.

A Perfect Summer Lake Day

Slow mornings, water at every turn, dinner that runs into stars.

  1. Morning

    Coffee in the sunroom while the lake wakes up. Pick up a second cup from Johnny's. Spend the rest of the morning kayaking or paddle boarding from the dock.

  2. Lunch

    Sandwiches from Singleton's, eaten by the water.

  3. Afternoon

    Relax on the dock. Read a book. Take one more paddle around the lake before the wind picks up.

  4. Evening

    Dinner at Homestyle, then home for a fire, s'mores, and stargazing from the yard.

A Perfect Ski Day

Fuel up. Ski hard. Come home to a warm house and a long dinner.

  1. Breakfast

    Fuel up with breakfast at The Hatchery or whip up breakfast in the open kitchen.

  2. On the Mountain

    Spend the day at Okemo just minutes away and perfect for families. Or Killington, one of the East Coast's premier ski destinations with terrain for every ability level. If you have kids and are looking for childcare, book daycare at the mountain early in the season!

  3. Afternoon

    Apres ski or head home for the second half of the day.

  4. Evening

    Boots on the mudroom dryer. Dinner made. Fire lit and hot chocolate in hand. Board games out.

Relax & Recharge

Sometimes the best day at AJ Farm is the one with nowhere to be.

  1. Morning

    Sleep in. Coffee in the sunroom. Read a book.

  2. Midday

    A slow paddle board around the lake, 18 holes at Fox Run or a hike at Calvin Coolidge State Park to name a few fun activities we like!

  3. Evening

    Enjoy dinner at home and a beverage by the fire pit.
