Kept, not built.
Twenty years of Vermont
For more than two decades, our family has been coming to Vermont — for the mountains, the lakes, the woods, and the people you only find at the end of a quiet road. Somewhere along the way, we made a promise to find a place to call our home away from home.
After much searching, we found AJ Farm. We knew the moment we pulled into the driveway — the barn, the house, the yard, all of it nestled into the lake.

Lightly kept
We wanted to keep the property true to its core. We lightly touched it — to highlight its beauty, not to change its legacy.
Vermont taught us this kind of patience. The best places aren't built; they're kept.

An open door
We welcome sharing our love of Vermont with others — all the town and the state have to give, and the space to make your own memories here.
Families. Couples. Quiet weekends and long summers. Whatever you bring, we hope you leave more rested than you came.
